In the context of the ongoing review of the EU Consortia Block Exemption Regulation (CBER), ECSA expresses its support for the renewal of the CBER after its expiration in April 2024.
European shipowners believe that the CBER has delivered and will continue to deliver on its objective, which is to allow the liner sector to operate more efficiently through vessel-sharing agreements.
ECSA looks forward to continued cooperation with the European Commission and relevant stakeholders as the review process advances, and will continue its technical work to ensure an adequate implementation.
